I know that the developers can't say anything about the methods they used, but I'd REALLY love to know how they did it. I mean, fine, they need to simulate SOMEHOW that a team can run cold for a few minutes, missing shots and junk like that, but it's not every game, and it shouldn't be in a "you're going to miss everything, no matter what you do, and the cpu will score, no matter what you do" way. I don't want to criticise EA again, bc they get that a lot and it's getting old, but it's plain cheating, I think everyone agrees with me on that. NBA2003 can be a fun game to play with (faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from a basketball sim, but still fun at times) but it can be so frustrating that it's almost ridiculous, sometimes I can't help, but laugh at the stupidity of the AI, and the scripted 3 pointers and comeback attempts. If they had a better and smarter AI with realistic physics, they could play better defense and set up better plays to get the ball to an open man. If the AI was better, it wouldn't try to shoot 3 pointers with the same player even after I blocked the shot 7 times in a row, and I miss the 8th block just because I laugh my ass off. And I can tweak whatever I want, scripted 3 pointers and comeback attempts are ALWAYS there. I would really like to see a post where someone explains me why these are not scripted things. I know many of you would just say "If you don't like it, don't play with it." It's true, but I'm a true basketball fan and always try to give the game another chance. And I have nothing against EA... You don't have to protect them from me.

They make excellent arcade stuff!!! But they should consider changing the "If it's in the game, it's in the game" line to "If it's not a sim, don't advertise it as one".
