Cavs Franchise

Postby super_greg on Tue Dec 17, 2002 2:16 pm

sup everyone
i'm currently playing a cavs franchise (all-star, 7 min) in my first year. i'm planning on keeping the roster intact so i can have a shot at the top draft pick. but i'm actually doing pretty well... 2-3. my proudest accomplishment so far: beating the mavericks 108-106 (wagner got 25 points and 17 assists). anyone else playing with a cavs franchise? or any other crappy team with potential?

yes, i am also the cavs
5-17 with my most cherished win over the kings 129-98 :D :D
Ricky D had 45pnts in that game
anywayz 9min all-star(just changed to superstar) 56 games 5-7-7-7 playoffs

Wagner and Ricky D lead the team with 17.8ppg

and i always get my ass kicked by bucks
1st game 141-98 2nd game 131-107 Its very sad

I was playing with thre Cavs. I simmed a season, drafted a good bench swingman, and a really tall guy. Mystaters were...

C-Zydrunus
PF-Drew Gooden
SF-Darius Miles
SG-Ricky Davis
Pg-Mark Jackson(had like 20+asts 5 games in a row)

6-D. Wagner
7-B. Tyrell(draftee)
8-Jumaine Jones
9-Carlos BOozer
10-Jabari Tamale(draftee)
11-Tyrone Hill
12 A.J. Guyton(only thing was to shoot 3's)

I was fodoing good but got bored, and starterd a TOR franchise. ONly thing is wagner went from 75 to 73 ovrl.

Well i think i mite update ya'll on my franchise in here
all other cavs people are welcome

i got whooped today im my first game at superstar
113-82 to the raptors
but one thing i noticed, on superstar oits heaps more realistic, coz it makes you slow down the temp when needed and etc.
i prefer it on superstar even though it is harder

anyway i was getting sick of having a no true point guard
so i looked around and made a perfect trade
Tyrone Hill and Darvin Ham for Ex-Number 1 Pick Kenny Anderson!
hes what i want, a good pg who distribute the ball and look after it

Big Z
Miles
Davis
Wagner
Anderson
is my 5

yea, i always lose to the crappy teams with my TO franchise.
Vince and the Raptors against Nash and the Mavs.
vince recorded 47 points, 19 rebounds, 21 assist, 5 blk, 5 steal in a 135-134 win! (12 min, Superstar ****)

^^ those vince stats are insane...

damn... i cannot win a game on superstar... i've lost 4 in a row and the closest one was against the raptors 101-95 i think... the rest of them i lost by 20-30 points...

yea superstar is damn insane, but VC played all the minutes and was worned out (Mo Pete, Veshon Lenard was fouled out early so i had no other choice) But the Mavs had crazy stats and were nailing all there threes so vince stepped up...

haha... i signed t-mac (95 overall) and vince (94 overall) for minimum salaries...
i know it's cheap but i couldn't resist...
so now rashard lewis at 93 overall is coming off the bench...
oh i also signed dermarr johnson (84) and zach randolph (80) for the minimum so my team is stacked now...

Are you losing on purpose or are you trying? There isn't a great chance of getting the first pick and usually if you have the most chances that's when you get screwed over.

Must be painful to endure so many losses. :? What did you set your season to, 28, 56 or 82 games?

i'm playing with 28 game seasons... and no i wasn't intentionally losing, i just really sucked... and thats true wut u said, i always got a lower pick than wut the odds said... but now i got better so i'm goin' to the playoffs more often
