YO THUG NEED SOME HELP

How do you edit and import customs skins into the game? I tried to edit the color of a skin to better fit Paul Pierce's he's to dark at skin #4 and to light at skin # 3.....he's in between those two so i was wondering how I could edit the color......i keep getting errors and I can't use the coloroizer feature in the EA Graph.......its available for faces but not skins....so i can't shade it like I want to.......Yo Thug if u see this what do you think U gave me a good tutorial last time on making shoes........help me out.......
