How do you create the bsho.fsh file for custom shoes

Postby Ghettorific on Thu Dec 12, 2002 5:39 pm

Okay, I have a high res image of a shoe that someone posted. I downloaded the fshtool program. I made the three sizes of the image (32x32, 64x64, 128x128). I tried to make an index.txt file like someone had posted in another thread, and then change that to index.fsh but i dont think i did it correctly.

I either get an error saying "Unsupported BMP type" or "No Alpha data file.... Cant open 0000-2.BMP"

anyone know what im doing wrong or can give very detailed instructions for me :)

Hey man forget about fshtool if all you want to do is install a shoe. its very simple and very easy with EAgraph. Download it if you dont already have it from the downloads section. The thing is this....once you have a bsho.fsh file of any kind and the .bmp of the shoe you want to import you can easily install shoes.

First of all copy any bsho.fsh file from any folder you have it in to the folder you want to import the shoe to (eg. "kobryan" for kobe's shoes). Once you have that bsho.fsh file in that folder you may open it using eagraph. When the .fsh file is opened in EAgraph you will see a list of image files or maybe a single image file on the left of the EAgraph console, click on this to bring up the .bmp of the shoe. Once you have opened the image you may then overwrite it easily by selecting the "Tools" button and then clicking the import wizard. Once the import wizard is started, select to "import an existing external file into the current open image". Once you have done that you simply browse for the bmp of the shoe you want to overwrite the original bsho.fsh file with and select to continue the import process. Another click away and you are done as simple as that :)

well i followed the steps that thug posted up and it workd for me
1. hav the pic, use a pic edit program (i used photoshop) to
resize it to the three sizes, and save them as follows (in no particular order but i think it matters wut they are saved as tho)

0000-0.bmp 32x32
0000-1.bmp 64x64
0000-2.bmp 128x128

2. open the index.fsh file with fshtool
after that u should have a new bsho file in a folder
specified in the index file

C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 2003\bsho.fsh

3. after u get the new bsho file give it to the players u want
“He's a good dude, in my opinion. And he's definitely one of the strongest people mentally that I've ever been around. I think everybody here kind of looks up to him for that. He's the man. ” — Lamar Odom on Kobe Bryant
