Turning Off the Double-Team

I don't like to double team much, and that's why I always turn it off in the strategy menu. But, my players don't listen to that, and double team anyway. I lost games because of that! If you are playing the Sonics, and Payton is having a bad game (8 pts), then you don't want your SG coming over to double team, because then the ball goes to their SG, Brent Barry, and he just hits the three-pointer and you lose the game. But even when I have turned the double-team off, on all players, they still come over to help. Can someone tell me how I can make sure that the players don't come over for the double-team? Thanks in advance.
