blocking into the stands and off the backboard

hey has anyone blocked a shot into ther stands or off the backboard in the pc version. i just haven't done it yet and i've tried everything with the freestyle.

i done it once blocking into the back board, a player drove in and i switch to my center who was under the hoop and facing the board, jumped and blocked it into the board. i 've never seen it block into the seats though, i think ea made the arena so that its basically a rectangular arena ending at the end of each out of bounds area, so its impossible to block into the stands.

does anyone else have this problem? sometimes the cpu shoots, but the ball rims out ,then my player grabs the rebound but is called for a goaltending. thats really annoying

yes i totally agree with that... there are times when i go for a rebound jumping high... and having a tall player like yao ming... he gets goal tending... but its weird because the ball bounce off the rim..

if you can't block it into the seats then why did ea say you could and it even showed it on one of nba live's commercials.

If the ball is above the rim when he touches the ball, that is goaltending.
