Retiring Legends?

Will a player who ISHISTORIC in the dbf file retire in franchise mode?

i hvae gone thru 2 seasons. no legends have retired yet.

Legends DO retire. I placed ALL the legends on regular teams. About 90% retired after the first season. The remaining retired after the next season.
