Coaches Patching

I was messing around with the coaches and made this stuff:

Phil Jackson with the Knicks

I'm in the process of making him atm. I've made the bhed...just gotta figure out how to put him in the game.

I couldn't find a picture that was decent.

To put him in:

Goto the render folder and export the xcheads.viv the coaches are in there, i suggest not changing names and fsh files, i had problems with that.
I suggest using the sidney lowe fsh and patching in hubie brown, don't forget to change color, body type, height and weight if you want him to look real.

i'm assuming you can change the colour and height with a DBF editor?

You don't at the moment... just create the directory "xcheads" and use the custom art set to 1 thing... the game runs slower though... you don't even need a coach head though... for all my new teams I am creating I haven't done coaches yet... so they get a cool red head with green writing on it... looks way cool..

every one says that they make patches but how do you make them what do you need and what you need to do

umm... read the Customisation Guide and get the tools such as EAGRAPH (well when the new one comes out for 2003) or FSHTOOL... read all the posts in this section (patching issues) and you will learn... (hopefully)... cause is ain't rocket science...

use the eagraph to open the xcheads.viv
then click the silowe_.viv and extract it (looks like a yellow folder with an arrow pointing right on it)
then use the eagraph and open it, then click one of the load shape files, then click the fsh file, it shows an error, but use the same extract folder again anyway.
then click it for the fsh tool (or drag it to the fsh tool)
then open that folder and replace all the pictures with your hubie brown.
then click the index in that folder
now silowe_.fsh has all the hubie brown pictures
now create the xcheads folder in render
then create silowe_ folder and throw the hubie brown fix in there.
you may want to extract all the load files to the desktop and throw them in the folder as well

another way to all this, is to use a current face patch and replace everything and rename it silowe_ stuff and make his folder in the xcheads.

What you can do is create a new viv. Like hubrown.viv and then go to the coaches dbf and create a new field with hubie brown's info including team then change sidney lowes team to something like 99. So that way you dont have to overwrite sidney. Btw I made a hubie brown but the pic i used sucked so if enough people still want it i'll post it up on my site.

Also I think coaches only work by putting them in the xcheads.viv.

Joe, At them moment I'm looking just to overwrite Lowe with hubie's face....it's the easiest way...
