Frustration on the scores and 3 pointers

Sun Dec 08, 2002 11:16 am

Hi all! Im new to this forum, and just played nba live 2003 a few days ago. Im not a newbie to these kinds of games, and my skill level is at superstar, the ai at allstar. However, i really get frustrated with the way the ai is performing in this game. The AI is shooting 3 points all over the court. I can compete with them on this level. Scores are going up to 180  Field goals are at around 60-75% Its just plain unrealistic stupid :(
The ai should be fix, i know there are patches around for the ai. But i dont like the way it patches the game. It just makes the players move slower, which is not really cool especially when u r doing the hesitation moves. If i were guarding allen iverson with the patch, i can easily snatch the ball from him. I need a patch where the ai shoots 3 points not as often as they are on the stock game. The field goals go down to around 20-50 depending on the team's skills. This way, the scores wont be going up over 120 on a 12 minute regular game without the overtime.

Hey whats up.
I know a solution to your problem.
Yesterday I though having the default roster of NBA Live 2003 was good, but I downloaded a new roster which gets you real results and not many 3's and all the stuff included. There are less steals and much more.
The Roster Updated is called DK'S Roster Update.
It is somewhere in these forms so check them out.
If you can't find it, ask me.
But you will.

The hoopcitylive roster patch is very good as well.

Like DK's but a little faster.

ive found that it doesnt slow things down to an unrealistic result. speed and overall pace are pretty good.
