New shoes

Postby Steve on Fri Dec 06, 2002 10:27 pm

I have some difficulties with the shoe patches.
I created some new kicks for Kobe but they don't show up correctly.
You can only see them correctly when you zoom in or in the replays.
In the game they are covered up by his old sneakers.
Oh, I added the shoes to the custom shoes.
Here is a pic:

Anyone?

Thanks,

Steve

how many bmp files did you edit? it looks like you only edited the largest bmp file and the other 3 smallers ones are the default pic.

can you tell me step by step what you did to make an edit of the shoe so far. ie- how did you make a file to replace the shoe so far?

I openend xplrcmn.viv and extracted shoes.fsh.
I received one image-file for one custom shoe.
That makes 52 bmp-files (size 128x128).
I replaced the desired bmp-files, renamed my edited files and draw the index.fsh file into the fshtool.exe .
A new shoes.fsh was created. I put this file into the the /render/xplrcmn folder.

Yeah Stevev you downloaded the wrong FSHtool. You should have downloaded the one that says Beta(if you got it from DANet's site.)

Problem solved!

I had an older version of fshtool on my hd and this one was associated with the fsh-files. Due to that I only received one bmp-file.
Thanks for your help! :P

Steve
