Had a play happen to me on EASO last night that had me literally pulling my hair out. Here's the lowdown:
Played on EASO last night as the Rockets. My opponent chose to be the Lakers. It was an intense battle all the way to the last seconds.
Long story short: Rockets are up by a point; 87-86 with just SIX seconds to go in the 4th quarter.
Laker guard D. Fisher does a spin move and attempts a off-balanced shot. Ball hits the rim and bounces straight up. In the meantime, Shaq goes up and attempts to slam the rebound home.
The ball comes down through the basket WHILE Shaq is still clearly hanging on it, literally bending the whole thing down.
Shot counts...No time left on the clock....Game over. I add another LOSS to my record. HUH?
No call. No basket interference. Nothing. Afterwards, I chat with the guy about that play, and of course he says its' legit. Yeah right. I don't mind losing, but losing unfairly is just down-right frustrating.
Other than that, it was a great game.

I think in real life that would be a goaltending call. But, I don't really think the game checks for it on the offensive end. I could be wrong, but, that's because I haven't ever seen it.

yup..that definitely happens in the game...in real life its an offensive interference. Definitely a bug or error on the part of the game. The computer does that from time to time. Nothing we can do about it.

true, it would be basket interference in real life, but i dont think it is unfair to not call it. b/c (in the game) the outcome of a shot is not altered by shaq jumping on the rim. ie- the ball would have went up, down, and in even if shaq was no where near there.

probably another screw-up on EA's part (what a surprise) on overlooking the possibility of an offensive basket interference occuring in their precious game.
