however, in those four games, scores were quite high. because they played so well, i had to find ways to WIN, and that meant scoring a lot. i i did win but got unrealistic scores.
so i began contemplating about tweaking. and i,ve been trying the past week. i have reduced FG's and IS by as much as 20, speed as much as 10 for all, etc, but they still manage to score many (though lower this time). the rebounds are better though. but i realized it still is up to the way you play and how well you play D. beacsue Kobe's FG are now just as low as 72, but he still managed to score 20's and 30's on me, and be unstoppable at times, just as if i didnt edit any rating at all.
so i began to weigh things. i play franchise and as you know, you cant edit stats on franchise, and incoming rookies would come in with inflated stats compared to yours. if ever i decide to continue tweaking, i'm just will have to forego with my franchise, and play season mode. now are tweked realistic stats worth throwing away the progress i have made with my 2 years in franchise (i'm rebuilding already)
i concluded it still is not worth the effort to tweak. i can still limit my opponents to 40s FG%, sometiems, even limited them to less than 80 a few times, with untweaked ratings out of the box, though not as often as the edited rosters, but i still do. and i can. now only if i could play enough games to be consistent.
so i'm gonna save myself some trouble and not edit ratings. and i'm gonna continue with my franchise, with my hard-earned back-to-back championships, and try to three-peat
