HELP!! There has got to be something wrong!

Ok here are my specs:

pentium 4 1.5 ghz
original geforce3 64mb
512 mb sdram
windows xp home
32x cd drive
hercules fortissimo III sound card
directx 8.1
detonator 40.72 drivers

I am playing NBA live and I like the game. I wouldn't say I am a newbie, but there are a lot of things that i don't know about. I have the Fraps program and I am getting about 25 fps on medium settings. Is this right for my system. Is there something that I am missing? I though my computer was better than that. Thanks for looking and any help is appreciated.

thats a good question... look at my stats:

p3 1000mhz
geforce 2 400mx 64mb
256mb sdram.
windows xp proffesional
....everything else isn't important.

I am running nba live at about 30-40fps
dunno whats your problem man.
try downloading the latest directx. which is 8.2 and you have 8.1
maybe that will work out some stuff for ya.
