"Nba Live has caused an error in D3D8.dll. If the prob persists try restarting..."?
There's a couple of other old threads about this, but none with a conclusive answer so I ask if anyone has figured anything out by now?
I got the error message after I deleted Live 03 to try Live 04. I then tried to play Live 03 again but of course this message comes up. I reformatted my HD, installed the game, same shit. Tried re-installing direct X 8, and then putting on 9, still the same shit. Any ideas?
My comp is quite old, celeron 600, 64 ram, and Live 03 ran just fine on it. Hell even with windows 98 ME which is still my running system.
Turns out it's going to be a while before my PC is upgraded to play live 04 so my boredom takes me back to 03, only I can't play the fucker.
Any suggestions/ideas much appreciated
