how does altered salaries in patch affect salary cap?

i think i should post in here, since the updted salaries are a result of this patch... if i run a dynasty, i notice that after the first season, the salaries get renegotiated back the old way (300,000 pts max, vs real $$),,, and that the salary cap remains at 10000000 pts... no $40,000,000 cap or anything? should i just run a dynasty from the default rrosters?

the salary.ini must not have been installed right. if you go into the felogic folder located in your main live 2004 directory you'll see a notepad file called salary. make a backup of this and then in the original one delete everything and replace it with the following:

Just save the salary notepad with this in it and everything should work.

Since the salary.ini file wasn't installed correctly, I'm assuming you have installed NBA Live to a folder other than C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 2004?

yeah, i installed it to another games directory.. i'll definitely try this out and let you know how it works out... good to see i'll be able to run the dynasty with these awesome new rosters...

The salary.ini file would have been copied to the wrong folder then. Glad to hear you sorted it out.
