Does anyone know how to copy the Nba live 2003 CD?

It's not against the rules, according to "please read here before posting". It refers to illegal copies, if you own the software it is your legal right to make a backup copy. And if your worried about damage to your originals then it's a good idea.

If you want to know how to make backups then go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com , the forums there are a more appropriate place to discuss this. And yes it is a perfectly legal and legitimate site.

Yes, it is legal to backup software you own... just giving or selling it to people who have not purchased the software is illegal... and that gamecopyworld.. well we all know its legal but about 90% of people that download from there are doing it for illegal use.

Mind you it's useful when games have copy protections that stutter the gameplay.

Yep, and requiring you to have the CD in the drive when you've done a full install and it doesnt even use it

I do have a legit copy of nba 2k3, its just that me and my brother have our own computers and it sucks that we cant play at the same time.

i tried to download live 2k3 off there and it didnt work it just showed a blank screen when i tried to play

try to use some cd-rom emulating software instead
like virtual drive of farstone and fantom cd

I have made perfect backup copy of my NBA live 2003 CD with a program called CD-Mate go to http://www.cd-mate.com and see it for yourself. With the right burner (I have a liteon 48x. The website has a list of burners that will work perfectly with the software. While for the rest of the burners, the program uses some special technique called S.A.M. " Signal Amplifying something"), making 1:1 copies are no harder than burning a music CD. Give it a shot, I haven't had any game CDs that this program cannot copy.
