Is there any way I can convert the music files (.ASF) on the CD-ROM (PC version) into MP3s? I can't seem to listen to them using WINAMP or Windows Media Player. Thanks in advance.

No, you can't listen to them with winamp...no matter what version...but you can convert them to mp3 THEN listen to them on winamp...
there's program on this site called the 'SNDview'.

It's a really little program that works in DOS. you drag the dittie file into the program and it will convert it....easy...
