S.O.S----->the detail setting question

when I start the game,the detail setting always restore defaults,
then I change the setting,such as "in game resolutions" changes in "1024*768-16bit",then I quit the game,and rejoin,,I find "in game resolutions" restored...
why?
my videocard is geforce2 mx100/200

I'm pretty sure it is not dealt with your graphic card. Maybe you have an option check off in the game that allows that. But, I not even sure if that option is in the game. If you tried and cannot find the solution, call the pros!
