FG% very high again. Fouls/Free Throws are a joke. Steals are still too high. Too many eyes in the back of the head interceptions.

Damn That shouldn't happen.
The highest FG is MJ with 76 and Steals peak at 60, I think this was just a annomaly game you had. Try playing again.

I sqeaked out in the last minue because McGrady was out with foul trouble most of the game and I hit some clutch open 3s, and Armstrong missed the chance to tie with30 sec when he missed a 3.

Nice mooove dk... You've solved all my probs with this patch... well from what I've read anyway... the only gripe I have with the patchers is that some of them left the injured players in the free agents list.

I remembered skimming over a post that you sent them to IR (where they should be)

I was SAC, it was a tussle all game long, Peja manage to draw 16 fouls and go for 32, web had 20 and 10, Kobe lit me up for 38, Shaq's fat ass was on the bench with 11 points thanks to Vlades flopping.

I'm down 2 with 1:30 left, I'm using direct passing and get picked off because I pressed the wrong button (Happened about 6 times, I was just clumsy) anyway 2 on 1 Fish + Kobe vs Jones and I dont want to get ooped on so I guard Kobe and Fish drains the open 3, after that Peja missed about 6 3s and Jones missed an easy layin and the Lakers got to me but man what an awesome game.

Ok Dk...your tweaked rosters are great... but i think there is something that could be better...what about improving speed and quickness? just a lit bit...1 on 1 moves are too slow for me (just look at KG or T-Mac).

I don't know how explain...simply i don't feel like in NBA!....Other tweaks are OK: FG, 3PT, dunk, (just something to say about highest def rebounds i bring down every game!) a very good job...but i'd like experiment some game with an highest speed and quickness just too feel the "nba action"...you know what i mean...

this roster is realy gr8! I've tried a lot of tweaks but they sucked. This one rules.

ONE QUESTION: I was playing a season in Franchise mode without any tweaks. I'm almost done with the first one (3 or 4 games left)
Can I somehow apply your roster to this one or I'll have to start a new one using your roster?

one more: do I have to load this roster every time I launch the game or is it possible to set it as default?

I'm sorry but I feel the game is at a great spped right now, what people hated in the beginning was how fast it was. I have no problems when using someone like Paul Pierce and getting by people, you know a hesitation move some turbo and acrossover and if the defender is bad he is now behind you.

I'm afraid you have to start over if you want this roster in franchise mode and on the default roster thing why don't you try starting the game and loading the roster and quiting right away, see if that makes it stick.

I can't take this crap anymore. This game is just a fucking mess. I'm sorry. It seems like these patches work once or twice, but then now all of a sudden this patch ain't doin shit for me. This is the 3rd straight game I've gotten crappy results, and this is the only one I actually saved. These results are with 1 min left in the 2nd qtr, I couldn't deal with it anymore.

Why the hell when McGrady is standing under the hoop at the other side of the court, and I have two men around him, they STILL make the pass and he STILL catches it and he STILL scores and gets a foul. This didn't just happen once, but atleast 5 times already in this game, they just throw it, he catches and scores. Touchdown...Why do your CPU defenders just let the other team run right by, they just stop. Yeah I know you can use last man back, but sometimes you don't have time to do that you try to stop the man with the ball, but then the other defender just lets the guy go straight to the hoop. The fouls in this game are a complete joke. Plus there is a bug with the fouls. Earlier in the game I was 2/2 shooting free throws but Orlando had no fouls. Sometimes they call the foul on you, and then give you free throws, or vice-versa. What a screw up...2 years and we get shit, I'm sorry...give me a superpatch, and if it fixes the game, I'm happy...but right now I wasted $40...

Hey hey!! i'm not saying that your patches aren't all right, i'm just saying that some moves are too slow for some players, they depend from quickness i think....but it's only my point of view...nothing else.

It seems like sometimes the CPU says to itself "time to piss him off now" and does dumb shit like that. This is a flaw on EA's part and ufortunately there is nothing we can do about it.

yeah well, sometimes it seems EA fixed the fastbreaks by making the defenders walk back, while the attacking team´s running at light-speed(WITH the ball) . no transition defense at all.

Scott, also make sure your applying different levels of pressure in the strategy screen. Eg. I apply high pressure on players who pose a serious threat. Also mess with the types of defenses. Man to man, Zone, etc. This has helped explosive players.

I still think the tweaks go away after a game or two, its like it ignores it totally

Another thing. Make sure you're not using any memory management programs like Cacheman. I used this program at first, and the gameplay was VERY inconsistent. Disabled it and frame rate is more constant and cpu is more predictable. I can certainly tell that the rosters have been adjusted. Anyhow, take a look into this area if experiencing weird gameplay, framrate issues.

scotty...looking @ yer last half game stats....my guess is the the cpu's high fg% is cos he is gettin a lot of easy baskets...i look @ yer to's & u have 13 already....b4 halftime...thats too many man...you gotta take better care of the ball...less to's = less cpu fast breaks = tighter game etc etc...the shot attempts look about right

13 Turnovers - 8 of them were steals. Atleast 5 of them were the stupid eyes in the back of head reach out with one hand and grab it steal.

Oh yeah...don't you hate it when you make a pass to a moving player and he like jumps and throws ball through his legs for an interception...what the hell is that...yeah sometimes do it when the guy maybe falling out of bounds, but not 15 times a game... really ticks me off.

I know this sounds stupid but,
Make sure the roster is loaded, I have loaded the roster before and played then quit, and when I came and played again it was a different roster.

BTW For the next update I'm thinking of multiplying the FG by 1.05 because MJ(Classic) has a 76 now and it should be an 80, this is because some outside shots that should fall just don't. What do you guys think of this?

I'm also going to edit manualy to make sure the 10 guys with most 3pt fieldgoals made so far get a 3pt icon, and the top 20 guys in 3pt% with at least 30 attempts (some guys will overlapp) get the icon too.

to prevent excessive reach-in type steals mate u gotta protect the ball on the dribble....i generally always use the back down dribble with the pg's / sg's or freestyle it so u are holding the ball back in one hand, or with your back to the defender with the ball in the air when yer in the blocks....as for the cheap cross court pass steals, you gotta be smart there...if there is a defender in the angle you are passing this pass is likely to get picked off...sometimes it gets thru ok when u use a high rating passing player like yer pg...if i get doubled in the blox, i usually kick it round the horn looking for the open man...hope this helps with yer steal / to's problem

Thanks for the roster tweaks. I am reading this correctly? Your first roster tweak had speed of *72, now it is *90?? I may be in the minority, but I thought the first roster tweak speed was perfect! Now seems too fast to me. I am new to Live Series, is there a tutorial on how to manipulate the roster variables? Do I need an editor?

The gameplay is definitely improved by the tweaks. Keep up the good work.

Hey nice roster DK but there seems to be too many missed layups. Does that happen on super star? I played on rookie to memorize direct pass buttons and noticed both teams missing easy layups and shaq had more layups than dunks.

also i agree that too many easy layups are being missed........
but all in all i like the foul thing cuz thats why i lost to the clippers....i did so poor in free throws...also i didnt turn it on all star im still playing on starter....i will put it on allstar soon though...keep updating those rosters and good luck...
