My initial thought is that you need a friggin big rig to run it on Maximum detail on 640x480x32 resolution

Seriously though, it's a big improvement over NBA Live 2001 for PC and there are enough game modes to keep you busy for a while.

Too bad you can't save in-game though... :?

I asked this before in other posts, but with no reply, so I'm hoping that my fellow Australians will help me out...

I don't have the game yet, I'm waiting for the PS2 version. I'm a huge Hawks fan and want to know how they look. What is their roster? Starting five? Is Ira Newble in the game? Does he look remotely like his real life counterpart? I don't expect for him to look real, yet alone be in the Game.

Anyone wanna help out? Screens would be great, but all I'm expecting is a written reply.......

cheers, Cam

any bought the PC version in australia yet? What are your initial thoughts?

The game says my name for my created player just like it did in NBA Live 2000... YAY!!!!!

We have lost the graphs for player progress that were in NBA Live 2001... :( the graphs were so much prettier... than just looking at numbers....

You actually have to play defence in this game...

You actually loose the ball if you try to do something a player cant do... (like spin dribble with Elton Brand).

I like the new "take charge" button... and the fact that it doesn't always work which prevents you from being lazy on defence and always trying to take the charge...

At first I had the AI stealling every pass I did... but now I am smarter about where I pass and you actually have to think about where you are passing the ball... try pass it across the key and it WILL get stolen...

Great game.... still has a few bugs... the comentary is already getting old... and inaccurate...

And I turned the slider for the cut scenes right down but I still get cut scenes? what gives? I don't want damn cut scenes... looks like I am stuck with them... but at least it onlt does them at timeouts and fouls now instead of ever time the ball goes out of bounds....

HOORAY! David is here.

I got the game too.

Yeah? Sweet...how does that work?

Agreed.

Dissagree. I like the commentary...i like way it talk about the player and how his season is going.

You gotta have love for the cut scenes... You can just get out of them by pushing pass or something...You probably already know that and are thinking "No shit nick, duh" but it took me a while to figure out...hehe...

Yeah? Sweet...how does that work?

Well I just made a created player with the last name of Wells... and BAM!!! The comentators and announcer say my name... say my name... say my name... :D I assume it works if you create any player with a name the same as a player that is already "in the game"... :P
