excuse me but i didn't realy want to read every post on this topic so i just searched for the word 'socks', and didn't find anything..., but there could be some problem or something... whatever...
did anyone else notice this or is it just me that this has hapend to? i was to edit the nj nets jersys a little bit in the toolkit and i chose the home, away, serd, retro jerseys socks. the thing that hapend was that the socks got inversed (the home jersey got black socks but i marked white and so on),
is this some smal glitch in the prog. or was it just me that screwed up?

Any chance of an Access 97 version/compatibility? :) I'd upgrade to Office 2000 or XP, but the old Toolkits are all Access 97 based, and I still use them to consult the older Lives for missing player information for the old season roster patches.

Sorry, I'm am yet to find a copy of Access 97 I can borrow and thus, unable to add compatibility for it.

Since there are many differences between Access 97 and Access XP, I am weary that significant changes will have to be made to the toolkit's architecture in order to add compatibility for Access 97. In the next week or so, I will try to find out how difficult/easy it will be to add compatibility for Access 97, and this will determine whether or not I add compatibility.

Fair enough. I might have to consider upgrading in the near future. :)

No Access, no problem!

Postby Untalkative Bunny on Thu Apr 24, 2003 11:26 am

Don't have Access and want to use the NBA Live 2003 Toolkit? Get the Microsoft Access XP Runtime version!

More information on the Microsoft Access XP Runtime version can be found in this post.

I think I'll be working on Player/Team Import. I want to get that finished so that when this year's Draft occurs, people can import rookies into their franchises. Then, I'll work on the macro-editor.

Sorry.

The NBA Live 2003 Toolkit web site is currently down, and is lost. :( Please bare with me while I attempt to restore the web site to its former status.

The latest version toolkit of the toolkit is still available from http://members.rogers.com/nbalive2003toolkit/

Thanks for all your support.

well, i click in the ratings and try to replace them or delete the rating to put in a new rating, and it won't allow me to do so. Also it says on the bottom left of the window 'This Recordset is not updateable.'

your files could, for some reason (:?), have a 'read-only' attribute..., check that

Open up My Computer or Windows Explorer and browse to your NBA Live 2003 save folder (i.e. My Documents\NBA Live 2003\saves\000). Access the properties of the DBF files - for instance: players.dbf - and check to see whether the read-only attribute is checked. It is also recommended that these files do not have the hidden attribute. You may want to do the same for the NBA Live 2003 Toolkit file itself.

If this doesn't solve your problem, you can try to download the toolkit again and make sure no other applications, that might be trying to access those DBF files, are running while using the toolkit.

Good luck and post your results.
