I think you should release the instructions on how to install it yourself, since the size is so large. If you do it that way, maybe someone might figure out a way to get the patch size smaller, too.
If you want to make the 150 meg patch available for download, I suggest that someone (preferably more than one person) with a constantly on, high speed connection (Cable, DSL) makes it available through KaZaa or some other file sharing system, so that it can be downloaded at any time. And that will enable people with slower connections to download it through the resume feature (and if enough people have the patch, it will speed up the download).

Bleh, I'm on 56k so it'll be a pain downloading a 150MB patch.. But if that's the only possible choice then I guess I'll have to. I'd prefer the instructions though.

Then I guess the best way around this is to just prepare the tutorial on how to do this. Have to agree that DL a 150MB file is close to impossible. It would really take forever. Hope that the instructions would be up for grabs soon

That would be impossible to host...
Divide that by 10 and it's still too big for me to download!

If he puts it on KaZaA, it won't really make a difference. He'll need to have his KaZaA open 24/7 and KaZaA's search engines aren't powerful enough to search for a file that only one person has (since there are more than 1 million users worldwide). But if he gave the file to like 20 people to share then we'll probably have a chance of finding it.
