Nice work

Nice work Alex, the patch that I made (white/black ones) wasn't going all that great, since I am learning how to fix up the back portion of the shoe. I can't get the back parts to connect right, but from what you did it looks great. Two pairs of Air Jordan XIs made so far.......

Hey Tony or Alex, any chance of the old-school Jordans that he wore the last time he played at Madison Square Garden in 1998.

Those things are cool.

i was able to make a shoe but was not able to try it yet in the game...i was thinking of posting it here first so shoe patchers can see them and hopefully give some comments about the high res of the patch and also tell me what to do to improve or correct the things i've done wrong...but i also wanna know how to remove the shoe file in the game in case i put it in the game and find out that somethings wrong with it? anybody??

here's the high res preview of my 1st ever patch! i haven't tested it on the game though since i don't know how to assign it to a player and put it in the game, so can anybody tell me on how to put this in the game? so what do you guys think? pls give some comments and suggestions for me to know what i did wrong, i need to change or need to add in the patch, esp. alex since you already made the shoe and i know just one look from you at mt patch, you would know already what's wrong with it...

also, i is it ok if i used just plain black background? i used some high res images of ready made shoes from this forum as my base to know where to put where and after that, i deleted it already. i just don't know if it would work if i just used a plain black backgroud instead of the shoe template that everybody is using...thanks so much![/img]

wow ..that's nice man :) ...but right off the bat i can tell you that: the purple part at the top is prolly a little too small....and the and1 logo is on the wrong side of the shoe.

Sun Dec 15, 2002 8:05 pm

ic...so the outer part of the shoe is the left side? is logo going to look right if i just flip it over? also, i don't know if i got the back part correctly coz looking at the images you guys made, i saw that there's a certain part of the lower part of the shoe that is sort of extended making the lower part have a bit of the image of the side of the shoe....

btw, yohance, how do i put it in the game? thanks!

Use EA graph to import your shoe

CRanga! Shoe legend! :D c'mon, i'd like to see some stuff from you too... ;)

anyhoo... if Thug is gonna take a swing at them, i'll back away...

and jay-em, i get a broken img src on those shoes, can't see them, really curious what you did though...

i dunno what's wrong with the image but i'm also having some trouble seeing it when i go in this forum...anyways, the shoe is KG II and well, it's not that great though coz it's just my 1st try...try going here --> http://www.geocities.com/big_21_ticket/kgiibig.jpg to see if you can view the image...but if it still doesn't work, try to copy and paste the URL/ i could see the image when i'm here at the reply screen though...

Mon Dec 16, 2002 1:25 am

yeah, i could view it now... nice shoes, a very solid first try...

Mon Dec 16, 2002 2:36 am

oh, i like this stuff! nice shoes for a newbie!

Mon Dec 16, 2002 3:37 am

wow! it's really a great feeling knowing people likedor can appreciate the stuff that you made...even though it's my 1st try, well, i really learned a lot of lesson just from reading the post of you guys...

tony, well i know you've said this several times even on the old forum but now i know what you mean by telling people to make their own stuff instead of using someone else's...

btw, i know i've seen it somewhere in the forum but i couldn't find the thread on how to put the shoes in the game...thanks guys! :D

Mon Dec 16, 2002 4:01 am

i tried putting it in the game and saw that the shoe doesn't have a back portion in the game...well, it's all white...dunno what i did wrong...

Mon Dec 16, 2002 7:01 am

Come on Tony, i may have been the first to do shoes for individual players (barely beating Hefty i should add), but there's no way i can touch yours and alex's stuff. Besides, it's been 2 years since i made a patch. I am on holidays now though, so maybe it will give me something to do.

By the way, thanks for remembering who i am, no-one else seems to

hehe, with all these n00bz around, its bound to happen... but i for certain know that all the vets that are still around remember who you are ;)

seriously though, more quality patchers around, the merrier :) shoes in 2003 aren't that much different than in 2000 (atleast i think that... you only have 2 seperate sides now)... so... dig in! :D
