Come on now, it's not that far off. Besides, he appears to be in the shade.

Who said that? If you're reffering to the "quit the spam" rule that made no sense whatsoever, I think the site administrator overruled it...

Onto the patch itself... I think it needs a bit more work... a better preview (where we could see more of the face, not like this from distance and in shadow) would be nice.

So, your point was?

A bit... yes, from what I see here, the lips, and maybe the eyebrows look wrong... as I said, a better looking preview would be good, my opinion on the patch would be clearer... and it's a beta, those are usually supposed to look wrong, and are posted just for valid feedback I guess.

You're beimg pretty harsh in critiquing someone else's work that way. I understand that you , like everyone else, is entitled their opinion; however, it would be more beneficial to say what it is that you disliked about it and possibly make suggestions to help improve the patch.

You need to understand that all patchers (which I would say is only about 5%-10% of all the forum members here) are taking the time to improve the look of the game for the 90%-95% of the forum members that are on ly here to download their work. So, to express one's self, in such a way about someone else's hard work, is very disrespectful.

umm "9mm" i see you quoted andrew but conveniently didn't quote all of what he said. If you read the rest of it...you will see that he agrees so some degree with my "rule". So i guess it DID make sense. Get your facts straight before you make comments. I'm not saying this thread broke any rules...i'm just saying know the facts.

BTW The face looks like gilbert imho.

Well...i have to agree that my rule was just a little harsh..but it DID make alot of sense considering the spam that was going on.

Andrew basically made an alteration to my idea by stating if you have multiple patches ready to be released...announce them in one thread instead of making a new one for each. Also...he said if you have simply updated or tweaked a patch..you could update the old thread you made instead of making a whole new one.

That's basically a more "righteous"(to quote someone) alteration of my idea.

I know my facts Yohance, I quoted the first part of what Andrew said since in the latter he just elaborates basically the same idea. Just wanted to keep my post clear, and I wouldn't have put a link to the whole thread for no reason.
As for your rule, the idea of using Nahklahan example of announcing all patches in one thread did/does not work in practice for the non-broadband users because of the size of the threads would become unbearable, therefore that didn't make sense.
Your intent of stopping people making 10 threads in a span of like say, 1 hour, announcing every single patch in a different thread was good though... but if they're releasing patches every other day, making new threads for announcing them would not be a spam problem...
Just wanted to get that out, so there... :)

I respect your opinion but it's just that it seemed a bit one sided. The rest of andrew's statement doesn't only elborate...it says something new. If one only read his first paragraph ..one would think he totally and completely over-ruled me. I'm just saying if you're gonna quote andrew's words..it would be more appropriate and considerate to post all of what he said. Peace.

I don't like him.

The patch is nicely done. Just need to get him to have more of a Gilbert kinda face :).
