nice patches by Tony, might follow a 2nd version for Rose, don't know yet...

well... i got tired of the old ref... and jalen was next on my list anyway... the face was easy (and yes, he does wear a headband on his games, its the only reason i included it - for those that might dislike it, and i didn't want to give him the one via players.dbf since it just looks awkward)...
but this was the first time i did some major tattoos... it's quite a pain in the butt (i do give tons of props to Rey J, my jalen tats were partially based on his, his rose tattoo patch had some drawings missing... like the Jesus face)

so anyways... here they are...

Completely updates Rose:

- adds a new more realistic face
- new hair (with new headshape)
- changes skintone
- adds his arm tattoos
- black headband
- Reebok Amaze shoes (3 colorways - by Nahklahan)

Completely updates the referee:

- replaces the old ill-looking dried-out white ref with a new afro-american one
- adds the Reebok NBA referee gear for the 2002/03 season

well... first team jersey patch i made this year, and i thought it should be orlando magic, since the colouring on default EA jerseys were pretty off, and unrealistic (becoming an orlando fan because of my homeboy giricek has nothing to do with it )... includes the new jersey/shorts textures i did, plus some other things which you can check in the patch description...

Completely updates home/away Orlando jerseys:

- new realistic textures
- fixed side trims (not done in any other patch till this one, as far as i know)
- realistic colours

Well... inspite of all the "constructive criticism" this narcissistic fellow posted, I like the patch... it's a pretty big improvement over EA's... no fro, his shoes, tattoos, gear, better face... enough reasons to put it in my game...

Studman, to me on that screenshot Rose looks pretty much like in all those pictures you posted (which I might add, are pretty outdated - longer hair; no headband)... but oh well, you're entitled to your own opinion...

Hey Jalen face looks ok to me. I apprecite the time and effort that you spend on this one. He has a very funny shaped face, but I think that you did a good job considering that. And the shoes are the same ones that he wears in the game.... Thanks again

yep i think that ron artest headshape is not really rose's one... but for trying other headshapes by yourself it's pretty easy... plus i don't think anybody's giving tony money to do that..

Huml is great at making realistic and detailed faces per se, but some of his efforts bare little resemblance to the real players. For example his Shaq and Jordan faces are totally awful, they don't look like the real thing at all. As a cyberface, both patches are detailed and good-looking, but that doesn't really help, does it.

Yeah, I'm sorry, the only one here that dislikes all patches of Huml is STUDMAN . I don't even like Tony's Pierce, Richardson and some others that much. In case of Pierce and Richardson Dev made better ones, I installed, but without Dev's I would have stayed with Huml's... So this is sometimes the reason I don't understand some people talkin' about his patches as bad as there are better ones out there or others, while everybody knows there are not... I think they should be satisfied with the minimum of update which improves EA's and is better then EA's and just shut there mouths...

Nothin' against constructive critizism... I'm one of the guys who makes it often

ur dead wrong now arent u? if u didnt knw i love his pierce, ivy, duncan, hedo and many more..i just comment when the patch dont look right..u might be satisfied wth mininum updates but there r sum..like me..dat just wants it to look right, not decent but 95% realism at least..if it isnt up to my expectation..espcially when it comes to Tony, Alex, Gene, Trav, Jowe, and many others..thos guyz r vets and we should all expect the better quality patches frm them and not sumthing that dont look like it..

Just one thing, I just mentioned the patches I don't like from Huml...Pierce, Richardson and some more...why do u feel offended?? Have I said anything about the patches u like and might not like...?
