Franchise Problem

Discussion about NBA Live 2003.

Postby Spree#8 on Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:57 am

I have switched Bobcats with FA in teams.dbf, as I said. Schedule from Live 2005 didn't work, so I played on 03's. Random type. And I don't have any problems. I've just simulated 5 seasons, any crashes, any problems.

I think this switching with FA wasn't even a necessary. Works fine for me.

Does it generate an 82 game schedule with all 30 teams? If so, there's probably no need for further modding unless you wanted to make sure anyone who downloads the update won't miss a step.

29 game schedule (teams play 29 games in spite of I chose 28 games). Haven't tried with 58 and 82 yet, I'll do that later.

That might be the best solution then. You'd just need to indicate that users need to select a Random Schedule to use the Bobcats in Franchise Mode.

The only real advantage of successfully converting an up to date schedule would be to ensure that anyone who didn't choose a Random Schedule would still be able to use the Bobcats as intended.

I checked and any on 58-game schedule and on 82-game (but teams play 86, lol) schedule either I didn't have any problems. Most distinctly game generates schedule itself for every teams. Works fine.

So why the fuck the game crashes all the time for me?
I put every oroginal files into the database folder, but still, with my roster and random schedule selected, the game crashes.

Can somebody upload his roster so that I can take a look at the IDs?

I really have no clue why I'm the only who has problems.
