Yao Ming sucks

Postby Showtime32 on Mon Nov 25, 2002 2:10 pm

I dunno what's wrong with you guys, but get over it. Yao this, Yao that...........pffffft :?

I don't care if he's 11ft. He sucks. He has no fundamentals whatsoever. He's just a giant freak. He will never be more than an average player.

Uhmmm no fundamentals? Have u actually seen ANY of his games? No he's not the greatest thing since sliced bread but doing what he does at the height he is is quite amazing....kinda like Iverson.

no fundamentals...interesting comment  the one thing i would say about the guy is he has fundamentals...his general basketball skills & know-how are outstanding for a man his height...thats y he is going to be great...the one thing he needs to wok on is his strength & power play....that is much easier to do...not sure where you are coming from dude :?

yeah! Yao's fundamentals and mid range shooting skills are probably the best in the NBA for a center, i can compare him with hakeem.

don't forget, he's just a rookie in NBA, how many rookies can grap 30 points and 15 rebounds each game?? just give me time!

er..... Yao fundamental is one of the best among centers (even better than lots of NBA players). International players (not to say Yao alone) actually have good fundamental basketball.... US players relies on their atheletic abilities and it will be a success in NBA but looks how they play when they play against international team? International players play team ball while lots of NBA players play one-on-one basketball..... of course there's team like Dallas, Sacramento (just to name some) plays team ball, but lots of other NBA players likes 1-on-1 a lot......

back to Yao, he knows how to play as a good basketball player..... looks at his kick out pass to Rice for 3. Looks at his pass to the slashing Francis for easy dunk..... u dun just make passes like that without any fundamentals.......

yer exactly rite glyyde....

dallas & sacramento play team ball.....y? because their key players are mostly non-americans :P maybe these great american athletes need to focus more on winning than being flashy....

i think Yao is rated perfectly in Live 2003... he's a big man with some good shooting... but have u ever tried doing a crossover with him?... he loses the ball all the time... he's not overrated at all

hey showtime32, your a moron, well, based on your thinking about Yao Ming, you are.

No fundamentals? Have you seen him pass out of the low post yet?? He has been tremendous at swinging the ball to the weakside.

Have you seen his hands? You should know that Yao is the real deal considering he had his breakout game in YOUR TEAM'S GYM!!!!!!! If you saw the Rockets play in LA on Nov 17th, you would know that he a made a couple of complicated layups while also getting fouled on those lay-ups. All those complicated shots are because of his soft hands. But I guess your too blind to see that.

Also your comments look even dummer, considering you did not include ANY EVIDENCE to back your claim.

Shake yourself dude. you need to sit down and watch a lot more basketball because, based on your comments just now, you don't know a lot about NBA basketball.

Of course, you could also take back your Yao Ming comment.
