edit using excel

how do i for instance add 5 to all of a column? or mulitply by 2? thanks!

btw pls no advice to switch to other editors, i know i can make it work with excel

add a column above the header column

put the number you want above the column you wish to modify (for this example I will use 5 to add 5)

hit copy

highlight the enitre column of data

hit paste special and choose add

make sure to use autofilter and make sure you don't have any numbers out of the acceptable range 0-100

delete the column above the headers.
