Help pls... someone!!! :((

My game crashes even if there are no patches installed. I always got this msg: --> required file not found, please insert nba live 2003 cd!

-I uninstalled my gme 5 times already but still I get the same result.

take note:

-after I uninstall the game, I always removed the nba folder in MYDoc
-I still have the folder containing all the patches but it is placed in another directory

what could possibly went wrong?

Your help will be highly appreciated! tnx in advance. :)

Have you tried disabling screensavers, anti-virus shields, etc? Sometimes they can cause problems. Also ensure that your video card's chipset is supported by NBA Live 2003.

There's nothing to do with screensavers and your videocard, because it's a disk-reading issue ("required file not found").
I think it's either your CD-ROM or .... just a dirty CD (banal, but actual).

If your CD-ROM isn't damaged (obviously there's nothing wrong with the drive since you say other games are working fine) and re-installing doesn't do the trick, then I'm not sure what else to suggest. Consult EA's tech support site, and if need be send them an email about the problem.
