Best database editor?

Postby thesport on Tue Jun 24, 2003 3:17 pm

What is the best DB editor to edit the saved roster files in NBA Live 2003? I've tried the majority of them on this site and can't seem to get them to work. MS Toolkit XP says that it cannot find the CAREER.DBF file when I try to open the roster file even though it's there. Does anybody know why it gives me the message that this file can't be found? I downloaded the latest version...0.76 I believe that says that this problem is fixed, but obviously it's not.

Then I've also tried the DB Commander 2000 Pro and when I try to open the players.dbf file inside the saved roster file it tells me that the file is invalid. I don't know why it's telling me this either.

Anyway, do you guys know of anything that I could try to correct these problems? Or is there another program that you recommend?

Thanks.

I use the NBA Live 2001 Toolkit for Access 97 and DB Commander. Yohance recommended another DBF editor to me a while ago, but I've forgotten the name.
