Fri Jan 17, 2003 5:02 am

hello hawk23!

yes i may have some suggestions for you later for yur version 2, but your version 1.00 champs roster is pretty excellent!
i have had some small recent time to try it out, and it seems very fun!
your enhancemenst to Lutz concept of Champs, to add the runner ups is really an excellent idea! one of my fav teams was the 93 phoenix! lol!
very excelent work hawk23!
and i look forward to version 2 in the futre (when there is time for fun)!
peace!

I think you should make Kukoc (Chicago '98, dunno about 96 and 97) skinnier and a little better at 3 point shooting(also Pippen).
Kerr-Buechler-Pippen-Jordan-Kukoc, that should be the order at those Bulls from the best to the worst of their main 3 point shooters

I've seen a guy that could change the players' pants to shorter ones, that would be nice for old teams.

And, when i try a season with 8 teams per conference game crashes, which's the maximum # of teams we can put per conference, only 5?

Great work! :D

Go to http://www.basketballreference.com for stats.

I didn't load the patch yet, so I don't know if you added Mikan's Lakers.

They were the champs in

1949-50:

Roster: http://www.basketballreference.com/teams/teamyear.htm?tm=MIE&lg=n&yr=1948

1952-53:

Roster: http://www.basketballreference.com/teams/teamyear.htm?tm=MIE&lg=n&yr=1951

1953-54:

I know a little about some of the players.

Mikan was dominant, tough, and could hit a hook shot with either hand. He was extremely slow and un-athletic (even for the time). But he would aggressively defend rebounds with his elbows, and was tough enough to play with over a half dozen stress fractures in his career.

Mikelson was the other dominant player.

I've heard Pollard was a great leaper. It wasn't safe to dunk in a game back then, but I've heard he could dunk from just inside the FT line like Brent Barry. He was also supposed to be a great shooter from the corner.

Martin was a ball handler. I'm guessing he was impressive at the time, because he showed off at the end of a Lakers--Globetrotters game.

Lovellete was a rookie during the last championship (then Mikan retired). He was a center who was physical, but shot out side shots.

I wish I new something about the other players to help you out.

If you haven't created them yet, good luck.
