I didn't load the patch yet, so I don't know if you added Mikan's Lakers.
They were the champs in
1949-50:

I know a little about some of the players.
Mikan was dominant, tough, and could hit a hook shot with either hand. He was extremely slow and un-athletic (even for the time). But he would aggressively defend rebounds with his elbows, and was tough enough to play with over a half dozen stress fractures in his career.
Mikelson was the other dominant player.
I've heard Pollard was a great leaper. It wasn't safe to dunk in a game back then, but I've heard he could dunk from just inside the FT line like Brent Barry. He was also supposed to be a great shooter from the corner.
Martin was a ball handler. I'm guessing he was impressive at the time, because he showed off at the end of a Lakers--Globetrotters game.
Lovellete was a rookie during the last championship (then Mikan retired). He was a center who was physical, but shot out side shots.
I wish I new something about the other players to help you out.
If you haven't created them yet, good luck.
