Special offer for NBA Live users about DBF Viewer and Editor

Fri Jun 13, 2003 2:29 pm

My name is Sergey Chehuta and I represent a company WhiteTown
Software. We are an author of the CDBF - DBF viewer and editor and
others DBF tools. We have never seen NBA Live, but we have heard about
it a lot. From time to time its users ask us about NBA Live.
As we know, NBA Live uses DBF files to keep their setting and NBA Live
users use CDBF for editing such files.

Unfortunately, CDBF is shareware program. It has a trial period and
some other restrictions.

Last month we make an important decision. There are a lot of users of
LBA Live and they could use CDBF legally. Well, we would like to offer
CDBF for NBA Live users for a special price. You can purchase CDBF
(Personal license) for $20 (instead of $35) using the following link:

http://www.regsoft.net/purchase.php3?pr ... 6&pc=k697U
Password: NBALive

Please, do not share this information outside NBA Live community.
We hope that NBA Live users will enjoy CDBF.

Wow! Thanks. I was one of those users until your little trial ran out. And I'm too lazy to fix that so I use DBCommander. Hehehe no business for you. Thanks for the special offer for the live community. We all appreciate it I'm sure.

interesting... yet I don't see why anyone in the NBA Live community would want to pay $20 for a tool to edit DBF files when there are many tools availble that are **free**. We even have people in the community developing tools like Untalkative Bunny's NBA Live Toolkit... Your product is a great tool.. but we like to keep everything in the NBA Live community **free**...

Well there's no need to attack the guy, who is even making an interesting offer for the NBA Live community. He is a programmer and he has the right to charge for his work.

And you're wrong, there are no free tools comparable to CDBF: DB Commander is not free, and although the Toolkit is free (and it can be used without Access, which is paid), there are a lot of things that can't be done with the Toolkit (only with Access or DB Commander or CDBF).

oh... I just read this... well I was not attacking anyone Kq?

And I think it is you who is wrong about there not being equivalent programs to CDBF out there that are free... but I am sick of posting this information...

if you are smart enough you can find out where these tools are... otherwise keep using CDBF illegally.. see if I care... I hope Whitetown sue your ass...

idiot...
