Steals

Is it even possible to steal the ball on an inbounds pass??..
It's annoying as hell when the computer does it whenever they turn up the pressure..but it never works when i try.

And also, is it totally random when your players decide to throw the ball wildly during an inbounds pass??..Christ, i can't remember how many times one of my players just throws the pass like a few meters away from my closest player during an inbounds and the computer just comes and steals the ball.

On a side-note, despite lowering steals down to a rating of 50, it's still VERY easy to play the passing lanes. I think i'm averaging around 6 steals with Kobe just by playing off my man a little and making the steal at the right time. Anybody else do this?

I don't think it is since when I try to use freestyle and put up my hands it won't work. I hate how I sometimes back off a bad 3 shooter feeding the post and the pass goes right through me. :x

if u want ur player to do a normakl pass u have to wait a bit and u can also point with ur keys to which player u want the pass

I don't think that's a problem because i always use direct pass when i inbound the ball (or make any pass for that matter).
I think it's the fact that the computer cheats when it wants you to cough up the ball when they're making a run. That's what I find kind of annoying.

ya, i think i gotten steals off inbound passes, but they are pretty random.
and ya, i always use direct pass, so u dont really have that problem.

if you want to steal the inbound pass you should front the reciever. although it rarely happens just try it.
