I know this is really dumbed down, but somepeople have a hard time finding these things. First go to your "configure controller" screen. Get there by clicking on the "wingman rumblepad," or "firestorm" underneath the controller symbol when you're choosing you controls what team. There will be a setting near the bottom *second from the bottom I think) called "playcalling." Set that to something and then click it during gameplay while on defense. Works for me.

I think what colin is trying to explain is...

1) Figure out what button "playcalling" is assigned to.
2) On defence, push the playcalling button by itself.
3) Your computer controlled teammates will commit intentional fouls. The player you control cannot do one however.

What I do is push playcalling, and switch to a player who is not covering the player with the ball. Your teammate who is covering the player with the ball will commit an intentional.

Hope this helps.

It happened the first time I played it, and that's it.

sometimes they do, if u run around like ur trying to dribble out the clock then they will either foul or steel. but if u lowly pass it around to a cornet then they wont touch u.... kinda stupid

I haven't had it happen in Live 2003, but I've had it happen a couple of times before (Live 2000 I believe). It's pretty rare, at least vs the CPU.

lol, u can turn the fouls on the game off, and then use intentional foul, and a foul will still be called~!!
