access wont let me paste a column from excel, help!!

i tried editing my players.dbf file using access and excel, but it is not working. i copied the column from access and edited it in excel, but when i try to repaste the column in access, it wont let me. the paste option is not available nor is the paste specical. does anyone know why this doesnt work?

btw, do i have to edit every players.dbf file, if i edit just one of them?

Just use excel, rename one file to like player2.dbf and open both of them...
You only need to edit one file and paste it into the folders of the others... curentdb and originaldb and workingdb

or

make a save file and paste in the new palyer.dbf
