Dreads, Hairtype and Headbands

I tried to update Rip Hamilton's looks by putting his face on top of Sprewel's and renaming all of Spree's lod.o files to Rip's, tried to change Rip's hairstyle in DBF editor from 0 to 4 to give him the dreads but they did not show in the game. He did have cornrows though and the headband is not fully rendered, they appear like they have holes or breaking up. Any suggestions?
