u know what i think would be a good idea for trading to be put in nba live,
that when u trade the players stats count as well, coz there are so many player in real nba who u can say would have high rating in nba live like bender, ron mercer, and all them but they dont use them well.

but if a player is 77 overall and scores 25ppg i think he should be able to be traded to someone with 81 but only scores 15 ppg???

It would have its positives and negatives. It might help you make a trade for a better player who just isn't being utilised on another team, but it might also make a higher rated player difficult to trade eg if your player has lower than expected season stats because you the user jack up too many threes, try to get too fancy racking up turnovers, or simply not giving him the opportunity to produce, his trade value would be lowered.

You could argue that that's fair enough, but it would be irritating if you were trying to dump a 90 overall for a couple of lower-rated but still talented players, but couldn't. So as with all suggestions for Franchise mode, I further suggest it be a toggled option, to cater for users who might not want this feature all the time.

can you trade using "draft rights"?

Not in NBA Live. You can't trade draft picks or draft rights. All rookies are automatically signed in NBA Live, even second rounders, there are no draft rights to trade or renounce. Franchise Mode is a simplified version of its real life counterpart.
