15 different Shoes per-player is possible and more....

Through this naming scheme....each player can have a maximum of 5 different shoes in their folder... (example: nba live 2003/render/xplayer/ alivers )

.bsho_home = worn with default home jersey

.bsho_away = worn with default away jersey

.bsho_cl01 = worn with first throwback/retro jersey; increase number according to the throwback number

.bsho_serd = worn with sunday jersey

.bsho_prxx = worn during practise and 1 on 1

...i'm thinking each player might be able to wear two different practise jerseys depending on if it's home or away....but i dunno if it's possible. If it is however, you might be able to have 2 different shoes for each....hence we might be able to have 6 different shoes per player.


anywayz....you guys don't have to give up one nice shoe for another....just let the player wear the shoe with a different uniform

Yeah. However, it isn't possible to have two practice jerseys for 1 playa. D*mn. This could be cool with the two Lebron patches out .

Thanks for the helpfull info Yohance. I've been using only 4 shoes per players, the files being named: bsho.fsh, bsho_home.fsh, bsho_away.fsh, and bsho_serd.fsh. I didn't know about the other file extensions you just mention. What I notice is that when you choose an alternative jersey, like the Lakers white uniforms, it will go to bsho_serd.fsh first but if the player doesn't have a bsho_serd.fsh file it will go to bsho.fsh instead, the default shoe. So it's pretty cool.

Each player can have atleast 10 different randomly picked jerseys for 1on1 and practise. Name the jerseys to pr01.fsh - pr10.fsh


Now for you lebron james fans....as in the screen shot...you can have both alex's work and mine. Simply make 5 copies of my jersey ranging from pr01.fsh - pr05.fsh and make 5 copies of alex's jersey ranging from pr06.fsh - pr10.fsh . The game random picks jerseys...so this way...you have a even chance of either getting my jersey or alex's when you start a game of 1on1 or practise.

Name a shoe according to the practise jersey...(example bsho_pr03.fsh). When the game picks that jersey...it picks that shoe as well. I'm assuming it's the same thing with skins and headbands...one player having different skins and headbands according to the jersey example (lejames_acc_home.fsh , lejames_acc_pr08.fsh, hbnd_prxx e.t.c)

I've been thinking about that too, but a think i read an interview with Tim (from EA Sports) where the question is asked, and he answers no... I haven't tryed it yet, though.

so you can have bsho_pr01 to bsho_pr10 now?
but if you add 99 extra jerseys you could have bsho_cl01 to bsho_cl99
so theorietically(spelling?) you could have up to 112 different shoes in the player folder if you had that many jerseys.

too bad you can't have the home and away etc hairstyles, i wanted to try it with tonys iverson, but it didn't work, same hairstyle.

thanks for the info about having up to 10 jerseys in practice yohance. now my rafer alston has 5 different mixtape tour jersey to choose from in practice! lol
