wierd players

i dont have 2003 yet, but ive been playing 2001 and now 2000, nad what i noticed is that players scoring drops dramaticly. for exemple... i have elton brand for about 11 years. in that time he won 9 straght MVPs, couple defencinve players nad had 39.5 ppg for about 10 years. all that is on superstar 12 min, sim.
after that i decided to get rid of him for a young rookie from a very strong draft, coz his rating was 93. he had another 39 ppg seasn and after that had 8 ppg, 4ppg, FA, Retire.

now i know there are a lot of litle things about that game that are wrong, especialy when its supose to be live. but how many player do u know had a 30+ point seasons and just droped to under 10.
he is not the only player. same was with shaq, kobe and other great players.

if anyone simulated long enouph in 2003, can u tell me if its simular??

It's an issue with the simulation engine. Because his overall rating dropped and another player replaced him in the starting lineup, he only played bench minutes, hence produced lower numbers.

true but he does become older and his ratings lower every year. so he retires.
