Folks,
Let me just give ya a word of advice
If you come to the forum lookin for some help with a problem you gotta give us INFO
System specs
The complete (or mostly at least) error message you are getting etc.
It is hard for those of us who might be able to help you, do anything without seeing that info
Cuz......we are not the ones sitting in front of your computer when it crashes
SO please....do us and mostly YOURSELVES the favor of trying to be more comprehensive in your error postings
it will save you from a long wait for an answer or not getting a reply at all

sorry about that...i have a Dell Dimension XPS pentium II 450 MHZ processor, windows 98, 128 MB of RAM, 6 GB free hard drive space, and a STB Velocity 128 Nvida RIVA display
the error message happens right after i double click on nba live which takes me to a white screen and then says "NBA2003 has performed an illegal operation ad will be shut down." The error message then says "NBA2003 caused an invalid page fault in module ~DF394B.TMP at 017f:1004e396." I think it has something to do with the video card or video drivers since they are old and outdated, but i don't know how I can get more update video drivers that would work with what i presently have. If anyone has some suggestions, that would be really great, b/c i really do want to play this game...badly.

make sure you look for drivers specific to your card.
Also,
You are pretty much at the low end of requirements to run the game
even if and when you do get it running i do not suggest running at maximum graphics
