How do you backstep with gravis gamepad?

How do you backstep with gravis gamepad?

Ive read the manual and tried all but i cant make a backstep.
Is it possible to make a backstep with gravis gamepad?

HELP !!!!!!

you need a dual analog controller to execute a stepback while dribbling. You can only do it in the triple-threat position with the gravis gamepad. hold the button for rebound/block then tap D-pad down(if facing basket from top of the key)

I've found out that it is possible if you don't use a dual analog gamepad.
Just press forward (left or right), while pressing the crossover button :)

yeah thats how you do a backstep from left or the right but how do you backstep from the front.

i always see cpu doing this and i don't know how.
