Coach Larry Bird

I'm trying have Larry Bird coach my custom team, but i'm not sure how to figure out which existing coach would be best to copy his face on to. The ones i've tried didn't look right, any ideas?

does just copying his player cyberface to the coaches directory work? I don't see why it wouldn't. in fact, I think i'll try it right now.

The results of my experiments:

You can past a coach's *.fsh file into /xplayer, or a player's *.fsh into /xcheads, and it will work fine. However, if you copy the .o files for either of them the game will crash; you can either use the .o file from someone else, or not have one at all and have the game use a generic shape. a coach's name apparently does not register with the announcer if he is a player; i assume the converse is also true.



next experiment...can the announcer say generic player's last names?

Yea, I had already tried to copy Larry's player files into the xcheads directory. I'm just not sure which existing coach has a similar head shape.

Yes, they do. But only players that have the same name as an existing player in the game.. e.g. Barkley, Williams or Daniels would work, where as, Glockenspock, choppifung or nariety-flamstub wouldn't.

I have found that if a player has a cyberface though, it won't say his name.

I'm kinda pissed about that.
