Most Defensive Game of Live 2003?

Postby Jackal on Fri Jun 20, 2003 6:25 am

I played a game with the Pistons against the Sixers, Duncan is on my team, I traded Wallace and sum other free agent for him.
It was the second game of the season. Well I tried to play good defense. Well I managed to hold the Sixers to 66 points!!! I played on superstar and 10 minutes. What a defensive game, I think i held them to 32 or 33 % fieldgoal percentage.
What is the lowest points total you guys could get?
If you guys want screenshots, I can post them. .

i aint gonna say u aint a good player but i also have a few of those games, on all star though but, at times the cpu shoots about 20% and i shoot about 70% thats just no fun and already a blowout from the first or second quarter though i gotta hand i to ya, to keep your lead against the normal rain of threes is a pretty good job :D

Exactly that's what I mean, its amazing I could keep them to 66, while on Superstar where they cheat by making all three's or by stealing every ball, I was quiete amazed by the feat. I've doen it in Allstar but never in Superstar  .

That's impressive. :) The lowest I've held a team to is 49 points, but that was on 6 minute quarters, All-Star, so it doesn't count. The lowest I've held a team in 12 minute quarters is 101 points. I'd probably play better defense, only I use the hands up defense more than I attempt to block shots, in an effort to get realistic blocking numbers.

I got a question to all guys that have posted in this thread:
do you use tweaked or untweaked roster!?

Because that also is important for playing defense.

No tweaks, just block every damn shot they throw up. *Evil Laughter*

I have a franchise with the Cavs and I use the tweaked rosters... I once held Sacramento to 88 points... But now, me being 5-4, I average 106 points per game, allow 92... No good IMO, (N)

Holding a team under 70 pts is very impressive. I once held Atlanta to 61 pts. I was New Orleans and the final was 73-61. Sounded like a pathetic game but it was pretty fun.

I play 10 mins, but it was on All-Star, so I dont think that counts also.

And I use my own tweaked roster for this, a roster that suits my own style of play.

On superstar 8 minute quarters, my lowest is 56. I've had a bunch of 58 or 60s in my time, but 56 is the lowest. I'm still determined to set the record for defense when my own Bulls  only scored 49 points.

I'm not bowing to someone who hordes the best players, turns off rules to cheat, and creates players to dominate.

no sir, I refuse

glad you are having fun with it but this really isnt something to brag about

I've played some pretty crazy games.
I had a patch for the bobcats (i'm from charlotte so i obviously play wit them) back in the days Adam Morrison and J-Rich played for them. Kicked many asses.
kept the Knicks down to 55 in 6-minute quarters
I didn't use my created player
I'm surprised it bother you THAT much
