Patch

Hi, I just recently reinstalled NBA Live 2003 after seeing all the great mods on here, however, I've noticed I have the issue where the game's framerate is badly affected whenever a USB Controller is plugged in. I saw there was a patch for this, but I can't find anywhere that still has a live link to the file (Except from the EA Sports FTP server, but it only has an .rtp file that I have no clue in how to install).

Please help, I've been tearing my hair out for days!

This link should take you to the page on EA Sports' website that installs the patch automatically. It's the easiest way of applying it.

I've tried that before, I click the "check for patch" button but nothing happens.

Strange, still works for me. I'm not sure what else to suggest at this time.

Seems odd tbh. I tried different browsers (Mozilla & IE) but had no response on both of them

It wasn't working for me so I tried to find out how to install the patch manually, and finally IE told me to download something that I was missing and the patch installed even though I don't have the game. Before, nothing would happen like you described.

I know it's for Fifa, but use Internet Explorer and go that page. You should be prompted to install a plugin. Once the plugin installs, you can then go to the Live 2003 update page and get the patch. For some reason I wasn't being prompted to install the plugin from the Live 2003 page. If it never prompts you to install the plugin, let me know.
