Play 5 on 5 in the gym

its nothing special and it still has some bugs(shotclock) but i cant edit these things without the new version of the eage .im planning to release a 5on5 beach court and urban court patch soon....... 8)
note: dont forget to have gfxpak in your nba live 2003 main directory

hey..i downloaded the patch..and unzipped it into main directory..and i have a gfxpak in the main directory..then i go into the game and try to play it, but still there is no gym..what does that mean...how do you "activate" the gym patch...do i have to go to the "game mode" or do i go "quick play"? please tell me because i'm curios about the patch..

Have you read the "Customization guide" for NBA Live 2003 found on the front page of the NLSC? The way it sounds is this year there will be no need to use GFXPAK for installing graphics addons...thus making installing and removing addons much easier.

All you have to do is edit the last line of the \NBA Live 2003\main\cscripts\xstartup.cfg file to read

customart 1

Next you create a directory in the render directory called "xcommon" and inside this directory you place the 2 FSH and 3 .O files that you included with your patch.

I did a quick 2 minute test of this with your patch and it seemed to work...but I'll leave it up to you to decide whether you want to take this option any further...

I tried installing this patch using the gfxpak file described by RimRocka and it corrupts part of the graphics in the crowd area of the basketball arena. I also used the method described by DANet and the same thing happens?

i made a mistake of not creating backup of xcommon.viv thanks for no read me file how would i get original file back without reinstalling the game??????

currently i am working on another patch(bug-free this time),a 5 on 5 outdoor patch, which allows you to play 5 on 5 basketball on a streetcourt(with new graphics,new urban model(edited with oedit),new backboard, outdoor audio and new jerseys for every team/player).its nearly done but i am not finished with the installation routine.if you want to,i can take some screens...

Will this patch affect my ability to play in a stadium...is it a selectable thing to use this patch or does it override completely the stadiums in the game?

it completely overrides the stadiums but there will be a possiblility to deinstall the patch

no, it's not possible to create a 3on3 patch,i tried it once and the game crashed

i deleted so many players in the players.dbf file that there were only three players per team left.
