What do you mean by "not suitable"?
"Unfortunately, "tweaked" roster patches are not suitable for Franchise Mode."

I must admit I'm flattered Nick, not many people feel upset that they are not me. 
In answer to the question, the rosters are not suitable as they yield unrealistic statistics for players who do not have development stats (also known as DSTATS). Additionally, rookies generated by the game will not be tweaked, and thus will not play as the rest of the league does. Finally, it messes up overall ratings, making trades difficult and free agency unrealistic.
