Transparency in FSH?

Mon Mar 24, 2003 2:41 pm

How do you import an image that has a transparent background into a .fsh file so that the .fsh file also is transparent. All my logos in the game turn out with a white background even though the .gif file has a transparent background. Can anyone help me with this transparency stuff. Thanks in advance.

Don't save your graphic as a gif file. Save it as a bmp, tga, or png. If you save it as a bmp. You can open it in EAGE, change the color depth to 32bpp and then open the transparency editor. Make the appropriate areas transparent, then saveas bmp to file.

then use the EAGE import wizard to import your file with transparency.

You can also use nfshtool.exe to import files with transparency.
