hex edit a court for me

Wed Mar 12, 2003 10:49 pm

i can't figure out how to change the color of the baseline, lane, etc. I want to make a custom court with either bchogan's all-star court or the EA version of the blazers court. I can change the logos and stuff in the court fsh file, but i was hoping someone would change all the red in the all-star court or the red and black in the blazer court to yellow. I hope i'm being clear.

Dudes,

Can you hook me up with a tutorial on editing courts. I made my own custom team and I really would like to give my team their own court. I've created their jerseys already and I've changed the in-game logos already. A court is what my custom team truly needs. Hope you guys can help me with this

Thanks in advance :D

to change the color of the paint, i.e. the sideline, baseline and/or lane you ned a hex editor and the knowledge to edit the hex. i don't know diddley-squat about this. its in the *.o file.

to change the logos, backboard, score table you need to edit the *.fsh files. I use the nfshtool to do that. the nfshtool gives you three to five bmp's and all you have to worry about is keeping the 256 color/indexed color images the same and likewise with the 24 bit/RGB color images. If you can find an existing court that has hex colors that you can live with, then all you have to worry about is the fsh file. its not that bad, it does transparencies differently than the jersey fsh files do, kind of makes it easier.
