Is this a joke?

Did you people know that players that "host" online are alowed to use "custom" rosters. And no thay are not tweaked more like they put created players with all 99s on their teams.

I played some guy last night who had a 6"10' PG with the Cavs who had all 99s and I was still about to whup him before my crappy connection disconnected.

Also some guy had 1 on 1 a created guy named Mike Miller on the Clippers who had all 99s. I lost 13-11 becasue he would not miss from 3pt.

Of course all these kids had no D. The one with the Cavs tried to double with his super PG and Delk had about 20 wide open layups for me before we disconnected.

The Miller guy tried to stand with his hands up (he had an analog controller) but I would run around past him and dunk on him each time.

I expect cheaters and unrealitic players on EASO but I didn't think EA would be dumb enough to allow use of cusom rosters, oh well it's not like I'll be playing there much.

I only go there to beat up on guys 1 on 1. I love it when they put it on rookie and winners ball and they miss the 3. 11-0 me and they didn't even get to touch the ball.

EA should have made the online play for live 2003 like the one in madden 2003.

EA should of fixed Madden so that it didn't have the internal error for most people.

That was never a problem. Most people? There were only a few who were having this kind of problem.

That's funny...I just complained to EASO technical support about this problem. I was playing a guy a few days ago who added this superstar to his 76ers team and was lighting it up from outside along with Allen Iverson. My suggestions were this:

1) Don't allow people to quit games unless both players agree, or a harsher penalty than "Discs" - it stands for Disconnects, as I found out today.

2) Keep an official EA roster, updated all the time, that all players would be forced to use (or at least be forced to use in a certain matchup room). Then, all the little cheaters could go in their own room. This is sort of what Blizzard did with Diablo II by allowing "Closed" Battle.net and "Open" Battle.net.

This is what I got as a reply from EA:

Thank you for writing to EASPORTS Customer Support. While we understand your frustration with the actions of careless, dishonest players, our group handles technical support issues strictly. If you wish to have EASO issues addressed, you must contact the EASPORTS Online group at their toll-free telephone number -- 866-543-5435. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

I'd encourage everyone on these forums to call that number and tell them what you think! Maybe EA will make a patch if they hear from enough people.
