Help with created team!

Ok yall, I am pretty much understanding on all the patching stuff, But I am Currently making the North Carolina Tarheels, and I added records and edited all the dbf files as needed. Now the team currently has NO Roster, so when I go to add release players, and select a player to add, the game crashes? I have changed stuff and changed the name of the jersey files to the team abbreviation nchome.fsh, But there is still the crashing goin' on...somthin is wrong somewhere! Ahhh well. All I ask is that someone steer me in the right direction w/ some easy to follow steps, I in return will hook up college jerseys, it's actually pretty easy to hook em up. Peace yall.

I had that problem, so I had to edit the Players.dbf and change the team on a few free agents, to make it work. that way the rest of the rosters were unchanged.

if the team has no roster, then the system'll crash if you try to change the rosters in the game itself, since it expects at least 8 players on the team... just grab 8 random free agents and change their team from 29 to the tarheels team ID number with players.dbf; then you can do whatever you want with them... dunno if that's actually what you were asking for, but it sounds right

UNC, if that isn't the problem, maybe it's because the lineup is wrong... Try editing that with the Live Toolkit for Access.

How do you assign a specific jersey to a ceated team? What folder will i place the new team jersey for my team? I've added my own team and I surely would like to give them their own jersey,but I just dont know how to go about it. Maybe you can guide me as to how I can go about doing this.

The problem is indeed the empty roster. As has already been pointed out, you need to move a few filler players to the roster then make modifications.
